I never lived out of São Paulo and I don't think I'm missing anything - there are some things that only happen here. Go out to dinner with a friend, who gets a phone call from another, who decides to join us and brings another one, who was close to people I love, but I only met recently and had no idea of the connections.

Suddenly you look at yourself, sitting at a great restaurant, with a wonderful view and sharing a table with close friends, new friends and some that disappeared for years and were only waiting for the best moment to make a re entrance in your life.

Riceless sushi

My favorite piece, the one I stole from Sushi Leblon and convinced a Kayomix sushiman to make for me. Cucumber on the outside, salmon and cream cheese in the inside. Everyone things it looks weird - a sushi whith no sea weed or rice??? - but everyone ends up loving it.

Some days ago the waitress made a mistake and delivered it to the wrong table, but the people there didn't want to give it back. If I hadn't stolen the recipe, I would start charging royalties.
