Things to do when fotolog is down:

- Spend quality time with friends.(I really missed this view, the friend behind the sake box)

Carolina

This is Carolina, my goddaughter (who lives in Argentina) and the reason why I disappeared this weekend. Today, at 7 AM I took this princess to school. Then i jumped into a plane, flew 3 hours to Brazil, drove a little more and arrived at my office, where I am now, digging into piles of papers.

The world is spinning too fast and I'm not sure I can follow.

On being a woman - part II

Some other things only women can do:

- Look impressed when a man explains how the stock market works, just to make him feel important, even when you know much better than he does

- Dance all night on 5 inch heels with a smile on your face

- Work all day and still find strenght to go the manicure and the grocery store before running home to prepare a wonderful dinner for your boyfriend

- And find time also to get gorgeous, sipping a nice wine when he arrives

- Smile at the airline check in guy and get a free upgrade

- Change earrings or tie a scarf on your neck and see your look change completely.

- Wear jeans, t-shirt and boots, miniskirt with delicate shoes or running shorts with sports top and sneakers and know that, regardless of what you are wearing, you are wonderful.

On being a woman - part I

The best part of being a woman is to be able to be a different person every time you change your attitude. There are some things that no man can do:

- Wear red lipstick and fell powerful

- Wear white short nails and feel cool

- Combine a black skirt with white shirt and lenses - and look like an intelectual

- Apply eyeliner (when you are a woman who never does it), love the look and dance around singing " she's got Bette Davis eyes"

- Drop two pounds and wear short shorts, tank top and sneakers, thinking that you are the hottest woman in town

- Wear jeans with boots and think you almost look like Gisele Bundchen on the D&G ads.

- Wear a ponytail, but pull some hairs out of it, to make it look like you didn't put an effort in your look, but you are gorgeous anyway

- Use a pen that matches your purse, wallet or checkbook. And feel like a movie star using it

- Get mad because you can't find your black purse, end up changing the outfit to match the green one and loving the new look.

Half of a Friday night

There's a song, in Brazil, that says that everyone wants something from a Friday night. I don't. I left the evening in the middle. Band playing, cold beer arriving, people dancing on tables and all I wanted was my bed. So, here I am. Happy, going to bed before pumpkin time.

If I worked in an advertising agency and the client sent me a piece back with all these comments, in colorful post-its, I would have an attack.

But, as now I am the client.... ;)
